Lint is a yarn shop who's
focus is on making your time here, in the
shop, enjoyable.  We want you to feel at home in our space.
Relax, take in the joy and beauty that knitting can offer.
Your well-behaved children and small pets are always welcome. We have
 a carefully chosen selection of
yarns to suit any taste. We are a Rowan Stockist, which
means we are your source for Rowan and RYC yarns and all
currently in-print pattern books. We also carry a wide
selection of Blue Sky Alpacas, Noro, Debbie Bliss, Crystal Palace, Brown Sheep and
as well as Nashua, Berroco, Tahki/Stacy
Charles, and more. There is a library with a variety of
books and patterns with a focus on fresh, modern styles.
You can browse through them in the comfort of our sitting
area and have a complimentary cup of tea.  In addition to great yarns, we carry a line of accessories
and gifts including needlecases,cards, bags and fine
jewelry. Remember us as you need gifts for knitters and as the
holidays approach. Some items are unique to LINT, so you
wont find them anywhere else. I invite you to check out our class schedule and I have to say that I am proud to have some of Portland's best teachers here at LINT. If you don't find the class you're looking for, please let us know, or join us for our popular "knit night", an open knitting session every Tuesday evening from 6-9pm. Enjoy sharing projects, learning new techniques and sipping a glass of wine in the company of friends. There will always be someone available to answer your questions.
